Acceptable use
APTRYK is shared by many businesses. These rules keep it safe and fair for all of them. They apply to everyone with a login: staff and customers.
Do not
- Use APTRYK for anything unlawful, or to store or send content you have no right to.
- Try to reach another business's records, test the limits of the fence between businesses, or get around a permission, a plan limit or a rate limit.
- Share logins, or let someone use your login. Invite each person with their own.
- Upload malicious files or code, or use APTRYK to send spam or unwanted messages.
- Run load tests, automated scraping or scans against the service without our written agreement.
- Resell or rent access to APTRYK to others without our written agreement.
- Copy the product to build a competing service.
Security research
Testing against your own business's account is welcome. If you find a problem, tell us privately as described on the security page, and do not read, change or delete data that is not yours.
What happens if the rules are broken
We may remove content, limit or suspend a login or a business, and will tell its administrators why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it. Report misuse to the support address (to be added before launch).
